    After that happened, right or wrong, Apple severed ties with Gizmodo. Gizmodo was blackballed.

    And since that happened, the publication has gone out of its way to say negative things about Apple — again, the most successful company in the world — because, well, what choice do they have?

    I couldn’t agree with this piece more. It doesn’t feel like all that long ago that Steve Jobs was name-dropping Gizmodo during keynotes. I used to follow Gizmodo’s coverage of the tech world religiously (it should be noted that almost the entire staff from that era has since left Gizmodo). Shit—I interviewed for a staff writer position with Gizmodo.

    But now, to see how far they’ve fallen—it’s sad, really.
